A graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Boone went on to receive his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. Active in the dental community, Dr. Boone maintains memberships in several prestigious professional organizations, including:

Dr. Boone is married to Mimi, and they have three children. His hobbies include snow skiing, motorsports, and golf.
